Portik collects no information about you. There is no server belonging to the app, no account to create, and no statistics sent anywhere.
Your portal address, your username and your password are stored in the iOS keychain on your device. Your list of doors and your settings are stored in the app's own container. None of it leaves the phone, and nobody but you can reach it.
The app contacts only the portal address you type in yourself. There it signs in and asks for a door to be opened, exactly as a browser would. No other servers are involved. There is no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.
The app keeps recent events on the phone so you can see what went wrong. The log never contains passwords, cookies or keys. It leaves the phone only when you choose to share it.
So the app can be tried without a real system, a demo portal runs at portik-demo.zerolabs.se. It imitates an Aptus portal, opens no doors, and stores only the temporary session. The accounts on it are invented.
The app is not directed at children and collects no information about anyone, at any age.
